Imani and her friends have found South Africa’s biggest water waster!

Imani and her friends have completed their search. They found that Eskom uses up to 10 000 litres of fresh water per second to produce electricity from coal! This is water that can never be used again.

They also found that Eskom, Sasol and mining companies owe the Department of Water and Sanitation R2.5 billion! Imagine that, these polluting, water hungry companies are not even paying for their water.
