Meet Wetlee

He is very concerned about the water crisis in South Africa

He knows that water is life and that no one can survive without it. But he also knows that water scarcity in South Africa seems to be getting worse and he wants to know why.

He recently found out that 14% of South Africans don’t have access to water at all. This means that Day Zero is already a reality for millions of people. But how is this possible? Shouldn’t our government make sure that our right to water is put first and is protected?

You can make sure that all government departments, agencies and entities place water at the centre of all their decision-making processes by signing this PETITION.

In the meantime Wetlee and his friends - Imani, Chirp and Quag - will set out on a quest to find out why South Africa’s water crisis isn’t going away.
